DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT
Scope of this module is to reduce operational costs of the casino, and to add one more security option.
All the casino reports (consolidation, cash desk results, internal audit etc.) are saved in “raw data” format, with 256 bit encryption algorithm.
The files are saved and backed up by the MIS department.
The Internal Audit department can make checks of data validity at any time, by comparing the reports of this date generated by the software, and the figures listed in the saved reports.
The difference between reports generated by the software and the saved reports, is that on the first case the numbers are re-calculated from the database, and in the second case they are not .
Data Security
The saved raw data reports are internal encrypted and cannot be edited by any external software (they are not records in a database). At the end-of-date, all database records are automatically compared with tha saved reports, and in case of a change, the system locks.
This means that there is 100% security of ‘internal’ violations, and even if an employee manages to break all the database security (f.e., if he/she knows the admin passwords), there is no way to make a change that the system will not trace.
Reducing Operational Costs
It is obvious that when saving most of the reports in files instead of printing hunderts of pages every day, there is an cost cut in paper, printer cartridges, printer replacement parts and paper storage space.
The total cost cut in a casino with 80 Table Games and 450 Slot Machines has been calculated to 17.000 Euro per year.
